Plugging misss_fast_skin into Layered Shader
Hi everyone!
I had a bit of problem when I was trying to texture my character.
It was consisted of 1 mesh and my idea was to have subsurface scattering for the skin and normal lambert for the clothes.
Unfortunately, misss_fast_skin (which I used) couldn't be plugged into the Layered Shader.
So I tried to use mib_color_mix, but still couldn't get the result I wanted.
After some discussions with friends and teachers, I tried plugging the fast skin node into normal lambert first and then into the Layered Shader.
Voila!
Didn't know it would be so simple! Hahah,
Anyway, after all that in the end I decided to use normal lambert because of a few reasons:
1. Shorten up render time
2. I should focus more on animation
So that's it for today's post!
I'll try to post more updates! (and drawings)
Have a lovely day.
